Basic Rules of Golf - April 27, 2021 

There is no game like golf.  Every course offers a different challenge.This session is taught by Marcia Whiting, NCGA Certified Tournament Rules Official and targets newer golfers, players returning to the game, and any player who could use a review of the most common situations encountered.  The format is “on course” discussion and demonstration of basic rules.  Topics include relief options from immovable obstructions, penalty areas, abnormal course conditions, and more.  Marcia will review the situations on the Penalties and Option Bag Tag to ensure you understand how you get out of trouble on the golf course.  The current USGA Player’s Edition of the Rules of Golf and our LPGA Amateurs Penalties and Options Bag Tag will be distributed at the session.
