GO! 2022 RFP
Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2022 GO! Conference. The theme for the 2022 Gulf Coast Faith Formation Conference is "Behold, I Make All Things New!" The conference will be held January 7-8, 2022 at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, Louisiana. We hope to have many diverse and engaging presenters who will share a vision of renewal with our participants. We encourage you to include the theme or words from the theme in your presentation titles. We also encourage submissions based on evangelization, catechesis, renewal in the Church post-Covid 19, etc. We have been blessed to have all of our speakers sponsored by publishers, institutions, (arch)dioceses and individuals. The conference does provide conference registration and hospitality for its speakers. Like NCEA and other conferences, we are unable to provide transportation and hotel costs for our speakers.
We are currently accepting proposals for a keynote presentation on Friday and a keynote on Saturday as well as breakout sessions on Friday and Saturday. Keynote speakers will receive a modest honorarium if they are not sponsored by a publisher or other institution.
Please note that the directors will be selecting these presentations at an upcoming meeting.
Due to the circumstances of Covid 19, we are fast tracking our planning and deadlines for this year. The deadline for submitting your proposals is July 23, 2021. In addition, any potential speaker who does not currently serve in ministry in the Archdiocese of New Orleans must submit a letter of suitability from his/her ordinary, vicar general or chancellor.
