NJLCA is pleased to invite you to attend this 1-day chainsaw safety training class presented by Cary Shepard.  Cary is a National Training Specialist in Chain Saw Applications with Husqvarna. 

With all of the storm damage we’ve seen over the past several years, landscape contractors are taking on more and more tree damage and removal work as part of their regular business practices. 

If done correctly and safely, this type of work can very profitable and dramatically add to your bottom line.  However, done incorrectly, the potential for an employee becoming severely injured or causing substantial property damage is quite significant.  This chainsaw certification class will walk you through the basics, up to more technical and sophisticated tree work. It is a professional training class for all skill levels and qualifies for 6 CEU's with ISA, TCIA CTSP and others.

Attendees will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the session.

• 4 hours of indoor classroom instruction
• 30 minute lunch break (free lunch included with registration)
• 90 minutes of outdoor hands on training - felling, limbing and bucking trees
