Saturday's Feast of the Seven Fishes 

In order to celebrate our 6th birthday as well as the holidays, we are hosting our second annual Feast of the Seven Fishes. It's nine courses--seven savory, one palate cleanser, and one sweet--all paired with Italian wines for an unforgettable evening.  Doors open to the restaurant at 4:30. At this time, we will provide you with a complimentary glass of prosecco to toast with us to six wonderful years and hopefully many more to come!

You may hear nine courses and think, "Is there a valet service somewhat similar to, but more dignified than being rolled out to my car?" However, some of the courses will be plated as family style and some will be plated individually. All of our attendees also relayed last year to us that the courses were perfectly portioned so you can thoroughly enjoy each and everyone.

This event is based on a Southern Italian tradition once known as La VIgilia.  This celebration dates back to the Roman Catholic church and commemorates the wait--or vigil--for the midnight birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas Eve. It is common for many devout Catholics to fast meat at various times throughout the year, and it was a practice that followed Italians over to America where the Feast of the Seven Fishes as we know it today was born.

This celebration was about coming together with family and loved ones and eating and drinking well-past midnight, the atmosphere brimming with warmth and love. It is our goal to not only replicate this in each event we do, but in every dinner you have at Molinari's. And don't worry, we expect the event to end at 10:30.
