Meditation Retreat with

Steve Armstrong

In this 2-day non-residential retreat, Steve Armstrong will offer teachings and instructions that cultivate stable awareness of all experience. With awareness we can explore all of life, burrowing beneath appearances and entanglements in experience, to the creative process of being.

The format will include scheduled sittings with instructions, group check-ins, with many opportunities for Q's and A's. Instructions will develop from single object continuity to awareness of multiple objects and on to awareness of the nature of mind. Suitable for both beginning and more experienced students. Please read the full description for what to expect on this retreat.

Steve Armstrong began his dhamma practice in 1975 with senior teachers Joseph Goldstein, Jack Kornfield and Sharon Salzberg. After 10 years he ordained in Burma as a Buddhist monk practicing with Sayadaw U Pandita. Returning to the US in 1990 he has taught the dhamma and led meditation retreats throughout the West. Since 2004 he has been practicing 'mindfulness of the mind' with Sayadaw U Tejaniya and now integrates these two awareness and insight traditions in his teaching.
