RCAT 14th ANNUAL FISHING TOURNAMENT & SPRING MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Registration Opens: 8:00 AM, Wed., March 8, 2017 and closes at 5:00 PM, Fri., April 21, 2017.

ALL 50 GUIDED BOATS ARE SOLD OUT! We are taking names for a waiting list. Contact the RCAT office to be placed on the list. We still have availability in the non-guided division. Bring your own boat - the more that participate the higher the prize money!

All entrants must be current RCAT Members in Good Standing (dues paid and proof of insurance for contractors on file at the RCAT office).  

This year we are keeping the two-day format so please be sure read the following information and updated rules very carefully before registering:

TWO DAY TOURNAMENT: Friday April 28 AND Saturday April 29, 2017, 6:00 AM Start -  3:00 PM Weigh-in on both days. 25 Guided Boats will fish each day - the purchase of a guided boat does not mean that you fish on both days. Your guide AND your fishing day will be drawn by the Team Captain at the Kickoff Event Thu 4/27 OR YOU CAN "PRE-BUY" YOUR FISHING DAY (**see below for more information about this option).

Entry Fee: $850 per team/boat for guided boat division (includes boat with professional guide for one fishing day, and the "Front Half of Boat" - see rules for complete details). $213 per person for indivudual angler entries (on guided boats). $300 per team/boat for individual boat division. All entry fees include, "Front Half of Boat," prizes, events, and weigh-in. 

Kickoff Event:   Thursday April 27, 2017 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Woody’s. 

1) Team Captains will draw for their fishing guide AND fishing day (either Friday OR Saturday).  

2) *Heaviest Stringer catagory awards Cash Pool auction (two auctions will be held - one for the guided division and one for the individual division). The purchase of the “Front Half of Boat” (50%) has been covered in your tournament entry fee.  For each boat entered the remaining “Back Half of Boat” (50%) will be auctioned to the highest bidder during the Cash Pool auction. **GUIDED BOAT DIVISION MAY PRE-SELECT A FISHING DAY BY PURCHASING THE BACK HALF OF BOAT NOW FOR $500. THE PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE CASH POOL AND THE BOAT WILL NOT BE AUCTIONED OFF. YOUR GUIDE WILL BE RANDOMLY SELECTED BY THE WEIGH MASTER PRIOR TO THE KICKOFF EVENT.

Guided Boat Division Categories & Prizes (from combined results of Friday & Saturday fishing teams):

a). Heaviest Stringer  (1st, 2nd and 3rd prize awards to be determined by Cash Pool*)

b). Heaviest Redfish (1st place $1,000, 2nd $500 3rd $250)

c). Heaviest Trout (1st place $1,000, 2nd $500 3rd $250)

d). Spot Pot for Redfish with the Most Spots (minimal of 3 unconnected spots required and prize of $200 awarded to one winner in this category. In case of a tie the winners will split the prize.)

Individual Boat Division Categories & Prizes (fishing Saturday only - we will not weigh in any Individual boats on Friday):

e). Heaviest Stringer  (1st, 2nd and 3rd prize awards to be determined by Cash Pool*)

f). Heaviest Redfish (1st place $500, 2nd $250 3rd $100)

g). Heaviest Trout (1st place $500, 2nd $250 3rd $100)

•   Guided boats - 50 boats will be available in this division. These are first come first serve, payment MUST accompany your registration form to reserve your boat.  Team members/anglers can be changed later. RCAT will build or fill boats without four team members from the individual angler entries. 

•   Individual boats will be allowed with a maximum of (4) anglers per boat. Individual boats are non-guided and no hired professional fishing guides will be permitted as team members on boats in this division. A maximum number of 20 individual boats will be allowed to enter and this division will fish on Saturday only.
