Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division Training: Group Process and Treatment Planning 

Content: The course examines group dynamics and effective habits of group process. As part of understanding group dynamics the training will also incorporate Family Systems Theory. In addition to inpatient/outpatient groups, technical and creative forms of treatment planning will be discussed.

Facilitator: Yonie Herrera, MA, LMHC, has a private practice and works with the Child Development Center on Schofield.  She has a number of years working with families and children and in the area of psycho-education individual and group sessions. 

Target Audience: Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC), and applicants..
