Content: The purpose of this training is to investigate the laws pertaining to confidentiality, privacy, and privileged communication. Participants will gain an understanding of the ethical implications and exceptions to maintaining confidentiality.
Facilitator: Gigi N. Jones, MSCP, CSAC, has worked in the human services field for over fifteen years. She has facilitated psycho-education for individual and group counseling services with the focus on substance abuse and recovery.
Target Audience: Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC), Certified Prevention Specialists (CPS), and applicants; those with other ADAD professional credentials; and anyone involved in the human services field.
