Content: The purpose of this course is to provide training for certified professionals and health providers on the topic of preventing and managing stress. Participants will able to identify signals and sources for stress, to examine potential impact of stress on one's mental and physical health, and to explore alternate strategies for prevention and management of stress. This is an interactive training.
Instructor: Gigi N. Jones, MSCP, CSAC, has worked in the human service field for over 15 years. She has facilitated psycho-education for individual and group counseling services with the focus on substance abuse and recovery.
Target Audience: Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC), CSAC applicants, those with other ADAD professional credentials, and anyone involved in the human services profession.
