Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division: Relapse Prevention Training 

Content: The purpose of this course is to provide relapse prevention tools for substance abuse counselors and mental health providers. Participants will identify potential risk factors, gain basic understanding of developing relapse prevention plans, and evaluate effectiveness of relapse prevention strategies.  

Instructor: Gigi N. Jones, MSCP, CSAC, has worked in the human service field for over 15 years. She has facilitated psychoeducation for individual and group counseling services with the focus on substance abuse and recovery.

Target Audience: Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC), CSAC applicants, those with other ADAD professional credentials, and anyone involved in the human services profession.
