Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division Training: Using Art Therapeutically 

CONTENT: The purpse of this training is to learn the benefits of using art for therapeutic purposes and identify appropriate ways to use art with clients.  Participants will also learn and experience activities to use with clients.

INSTRUCTOR: Joan-e Rapine, MS, NCC, CCE (BWI), has been using art for therapeutic purposes for the past sixteen years as a Certified Childbirth Educator and Trainer.  She currently works with the adolescent population.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC) and CPS, CSAC/CPS applicants, those with other ADAD professional credentials, and anyone involved in the human services profession.
