GREAT Theatre Volunteer Open House 

GREAT was founded in 1998 by a team of volunteers and their power is still evident by the 55,000+ hours that were donated last year. 

With our staff now under one roof at our new Volunteer & Education Center in Waite Park, the opportunity to be a season volunteer is even GREATer. Come and discover how you can use (or expand!) your skillset, meet our staff, socialize with other volunteers, enjoy some treats and beverages, learn about exciting opportunities for you and your family, and of course… tour our new home.

What are GREAT's different types of volunteers? 

SEASON VOLUNTEERS: Those who commit to a season of volunteering in a specific area (set, costumes, crew, office, board, committee).

SHOW VOLUNTEERS:  Those who participate as part of a specific show (acting, set, costumes, crew, ushering).

SPECIAL PROJECTS: Individual volunteer projects (Community Events) and business/group projects (United Way Day of Caring, school groups).
