RALLY: HOW WE GATHER

Celebrate the beauty of the RALLY and how we gather. Artists, scientists, community organizers, computer gurus and balloon pilots examine- hey, let’s get together.  The Balloon Museum invites you to two events to gather together and explore topics like seed gathering, gathering in native culture and social media, why mammals gather and how weather affects how we gather, gathering to create families, gathering in joy and sorrow, gathering to create.

LAUNCH: Open House

Sunday, March 6, 1 – 4p  Balloon Museum

A lovely relaxed afternoon full of uncommon connections. Enjoy installations. Hands-on experiences. Live performances and talks. (2-3pm). Provided by a fantastic mix of Albuquerque organizations and individuals all approaching the topic of gathering from their area of expertise. And of course, come gather for food and drink.  $15 suggested donation

Thursday, March 31, 5 – 8p  Balloon Museum

A Landing Party to rally & gather and close out the month of Women & Creativity with live music, dance performances, food, beer, art making, beauty-making, a balloon-glow in the spirit of gathering and creativity. $10 suggested donation
