National Protest of Planned Parenthood

As a followup to the protests held in 2016, RIGHT TO LIFE OF NORTHEAST OHIO is joining with groups nationwide to call for a an annual peaceful protest on the public sidewalks in front of the Akron Planned Parenthood (PP) facility on April 23, 2016.  The protest will begin at 9am and last until 11am. This effort corresponds with protests taking place at PP abortion facilities all across America as part of the National Protest of Planned Parenthood (http://www.protestpp.com/) to raise awareness about PP’s harvesting and trafficking in aborted baby parts.  (The Akron PP location performs chemical abortions only.  They refer surgical abortion clients to the PP location in Bedford.)

As a consequence of this public scandal, several states have initiated investigations of Planned Parenthood and legislation has been introduced in Congress to defund the abortion giant that currently receives 500 million dollars of tax-payer money.  Ohio has been successful in stopping some funding for Planned Parenthood, but there is still a huge funding stream coming from their contract with the state for Medicaid.

PLEASE....won't you join us on April 23 (rain or shine) to pray and witness and show our community and our world that enough is enough!

We will have signs available for you to borrow if you don't have one of your own.
