CAC will be offering a specialized, intensive three-week dialectical Arabic course starting June 4th, 2012. The class will be held each Saturday and Sunday from 10am-1pm until June 14th, 2012, totaling 18 full hours of instruction. This class will focus on both the Egyptian and Levant dialect, which is spoken in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine.
The course will serve to bridge the gap between modern standard Arabic and 'amiyya (colloquial), and will be taught by our very own Nezha Almahi - LeBrasseur, who herself specializes in teaching various Arabic dialects.
We request students have at least two semesters of university-level Arabic.
