 10:20 AM      Arrive at the Alamo

                        Self-Guided Tour of the Alamo begins

                        Self-Guided Tour of the Alamo ends

 11:20 AM      Depart the Alamo

                        Depart for El Mercado

 11:30 AM      Arrive at El Mercado

                        Lunch at Mi Tierra restaurant

                       Free time for shopping

The voyage begins as you embark on a journey on the Riverwalk aboard a river barge. Cruise the river while our charismatic aficionados give  an exciting and entertaining narrative of the rich history of the San Antonio River!

El Mercado is the heart of the Hispanic culture in San Antonio with rows of authentic crafts such as leather goods, paper-mache, blankets, apparel, pottery, jewelry and an assortment of colorful shops.

MI TIERRA CAFE

Mi Tierra Café is the perfect end to the day where guests dine at the popular local eatery – the place hometown regulars go for authentic Mexican food and a warm Texas welcome.

Registration Policy & Procedures

We suggest guests wear, comfortable clothing, sunscreen, hat, walking shoes, etc. for tours.

PRINT and have your ticket ready to present to the tour guides & staff before boarding the motorcoach. Be sure to have a photo ID as well.

More details regarding the tour meeting locations will be provided to all registrant via email. Be sure to register with an email address you have access to and can check on a regular basis. We will also use this email address for any additional communications regarding tours

Onsite Tour Registration will be reserved for EXTRA seats only, meaning, if the registration minimums are met and the maximum capacity is not met before the normal registration closing date of December 20, 2013, the tour will be available for onsite registration. Onsite registration will allow guests to purchase the tour and fill the remaining seats. Onsite tour registration will be located at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

THE VIVA TOUR ON JANUARY 11, 2014 IS NOW CLOSED.  WE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH REGISTRATIONS TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THIS TOUR DAY AND TIME. THE JANUARY 14TH TOUR IS STILL AVAILABLE.
