We have a few open spots on all courses! We also have plenty of seats for lunch-only guests. And we will ALWAYS take new sponsors!!!

We are pleased to announce the 29th Annual DSF Charity Golf Outing. This is our main fundraiser of the year; started in 1990 by DS SA Mike Considine and dedicated to his memory in 2005.

Join us for a fun day of golf
This event is for golfers of ALL skill levels and is a great opportunity to play on one of the premier golf courses in the DC area. There are great prizes, fun contests and an exciting raffle.  Registration includes green fees, cart, unlimited range balls, breakfast & lunch, beverage carts, and prizes.  If you only have a few hours to spare, come out and join us during registration (breakfast 7-8:30) and/or at the Awards Luncheon featuring a BBQ buffet and our famous raffle. Lunch starts as soon as the golfers finish up on the links (approximately 3pm).

Last year’s event raised over $200,000 for DSF. With these funds, we help those who provide a safe platform for American diplomacy. In 2018, we gave over $100,000 in grants to those suffering a hardship or crises, and another $23K in college scholarships. We're humbled by the ability to, in some small way, help these families (visit DSF Grants for a list of all grants made by DSF). And it is thanks to our donors, sponsors and golfers that we have the funds to continue our mission.  With your support, we are hopeful that this year's event will be our most successful yet. ($50 of golfer registration is tax deductible.)

Pick a course
This year we're utilizing all three of the courses at Lansdowne including Sharkbite, their 9-hole executive course. It's a great course for those of you who only get out once or twice a year. Golfers will get an hour of group instruction before heading out to Sharkbite, which you will play twice. It will have contest holes and give aways, and of course, a beverage station! For those of you who are a bit more serious about golf, Greg Norman is considered the most challenging, followed by the Robert Trent Jones course. All the courses are great, let us know your preference and we'll do our best to get you there!

Register soon! We will sell out
The 2017 event sold out in May. The 2018 event sold out in April. We’re predicting this year’s event will sell out by March if not sooner. So don’t delay. Registration is refundable until May 15 and then only if we can replace you with someone off the waitlist – otherwise it converts to a tax deductible donation.

Become a Sponsor
Sponsoring the golf outing is a great way to support DSF.  Anyone (golfers and non-golfers alike) can become a sponsor. Last year we had more than 100 sponsors, who donated more than $200,000 to DSF. This is a great marketing opportunity for corporate sponsors: all sponsors are listed on the DSF website, in the golf program and on signage at the Golf Outing. It's a great way for individuals to show their support for DSF. Big or small, your sponsorship makes a huge impact on DSF. In Kind Sponsor
Donate an item which can be used as a prize for our raffle.  We could really use items such as gift cards (restaurants, wineries, movies), vacation rentals, sporting event tickets – if you’ve got it to donate, we’ll take it! Donors (and their item) are listed on our website, and if your gift is valued over $500, we’ll give you ad space in the golf program.

Other Ways To Help
We can always use help spreading the word to potential sponsors. If you know of a company that might be interested in supporting DSF, please let us know. Another way to help is to volunteer on the day of the event. We can always use an extra hand! Contact us at sarah@dsfoundation.org.

Discounted Hotel Rooms & Spa Treatments
Traveling from afar and need a room? Or make it a "get-away" and book a room for you and your spouse. Rooms available at a discounted rate Saturday, Sunday and Monday night. Spa discounts (10%) are also available. $199.00 + $16.00 Resort Fee (includes use of both pools, fitness center and tennis courts), per room per night for standard king/double rooms, which is $100 off list price (suites also available $349-$549+resort fee). DS Alumni Lunch
Did you know the DS Alumni Luncheon will be held Friday, June 7th at the Ft Myer's Officer's Club?  The doors open at 11 a.m.  It is $25 at the door and there is an open bar.  Contact Grace Dailey at gracedailey@yahoo.com if you will attend.
