MANAGING ANGER
Have you ever wondered if anger is a problem affecting your life or the life of someone you love? Anger becomes a problem when it is felt too intensely, too frequently, or expressed inappropriately. Managing anger is essential for optimal mental and relational health.
This seminar consists of four educational sessions that will teach what anger is, the events that trigger it, the aggression cycle, the conflict resolution model, cognitive restructuring, effective communication, and how to develop a successful anger management plan.
This support group provides an opportunity for participants to enter into a process of self-discovery and growth. Participants will understand the various ways they experience, interpret and respond to anger, and identify their options. Upon completion, participants will possess the knowledge to express anger appropriately and resolve conflicts successfully.
