SF Guitarworks invites you to Sound Pursuits, a series of three intimate open house events that make the wealth of knowledge in our local music community easily accessible. On hand at each event will be local music industry professionals, offering diverse perspectives in guitar repair, guitar building, sound recording, and musicianship. 

Each event will be limited to 40 people so sign up soon.

Here's our evening lineup for our August 30th open house:

Inside the shop—

• 6:15pm–6:45pm Watch the Plek in action and learn more about this precise fret dressing system 
• 7:15pm Schuyler Dean from Sklar Guitars will give a pickup winding demonstration

On our beautiful outdoor patio—

• 6:30pm–7:15pm Come try out one of the new guitars from our in-house custom guitar lines— Luttrell Guitarworks and Maret Guitars. Andy Freeman from Bay Area Tone will have his mobile rig to record different players and give a demo about recording acoustic and electric guitars and basses.
  

Throughout the evening—

• Our talented and knowledgeable guitar and amp techs will be on hand to answer questions
• Bring a friend who hasn't been to the shop and you both get 10% off gift certificates on your next service.
