2nd Annual DC Trauma-Informed Sexual Assault Investigation and Adjudication Institute

Summary

About NCCPS: In the Not Alone report, the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault charged the National Center for Campus Public Safety (NCCPS) to develop a trauma-informed training program for school officials. To meet this mandate, we worked with nationally-recognized subject matter experts in the fields of sexual and gender-based violence investigations, Title IX, the Clery Act, victim's advocacy, student conduct, and psychology to develop and deliver this groundbreaking curriculum.

Program Purpose: To provide college and university administrators involved in investigating and adjudicating sexual misconduct cases information and resources necessary to conduct trauma-informed investigations in line with evolving practices.

Registration Information: Program registration is available to representatives from institutions of higher education and their local partners in involved in the investigation and adjudication of reports of sexual and gender-based violence on campus. We encourage representation from your campus/community multi-disciplinary team. Registration is first come, first served basis.

Standard registration - $1,295

Multiple Participation Discount - Register four people from your institution or organization and receive 50% off a fifth participant. For details, please contact events@nccpsafety.org.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

The NCCPS is not responsible for any expenses associated with attendance at this program, including travel. If you wish to cancel registration for a National Center event, please refer to our cancellation policy.

Participation Requirements

Participants are required to attend all modules and be in attendance during the closing session on Friday to earn a certificate. Those participants not in attendance or missing more than 10% of the Institute may not receive a certificate.
