The challenge is to find and document the MOST species as possible in the given time.  Alabama native and Harvard University scientist E.O. Wilson described a Bio-Blitz as a “The engagement of citizen scientists in biodiversity exploration often starts with bioblitzes, which are treasure hunts designed to find and identify the largest number of species possible in one place.”  You and your students could become actual citizen scientists!
