This first time opportunity for younger Girl Scouts to get "hooked" on fishing with this workshop for younger girls.  Inspired by the "Run Like A Girl" video, we know that there are lots of things that we can do "like a girl."  Girls will learn the basics of fishing including knot tying, tackle, and casting.  Other topics that will be covered are: conservation, regulations, fish anatomy (dissection), and fish identification.  And, of course, we will be fishing!!!

•  Saturday, May 20th from 8:30am-12:30pm; check-in starts at 8:30am
•  Space is limited - 40 girl participants
•  Scouts will receive an event t-shirt and event patch.
• Rods, reels, bait and all other supplies are included.
• Please have chaperones per group according to GSSEF Field Trip Chaperone Guidelines
• Each Girl Scout participating must have SWE/River Center Image Photo Release Form
• The price for this event is $8.00 per girl.
