GFRW 2020 Winter Board Meeting

Purpose: Meetings will be conducted at the Georgian Terrace Atlanta Historic Hotel. This is an organizational meeting to conduct such business as is reasonable and necessary.

MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT, KIMBERLY SHERK:

Dear GFRW Member:

This is the Official Call for the GFRW 2020 Winter Board Meeting and Red Coat Day at the Georgia State Capitol. We are looking forward to a successful, fantastic year ahead and we should ensure that we do not lose momentum. I am delighted to invite and welcome our incoming 2020 Executive Officers, Board Members and Directors for an informative and fun-filled weekend with friends from across our great state. Please remember to bring your Red Coat for Friday.

One of our most exciting events this year will be the 2020 GFRW kick-off Board of Directors Meeting in Atlanta. We are planning to spread the word of our longevity, our passion for Republican values and especially our love for the United States of America beginning Thursday, with a tour of Georgia’s Governor Mansion, the Atlanta History Center, Private Luncheon at the Swan Coach House with state-wide elected officials, and our always inspiring Red Coat Day and Luncheon at the Capitol on Friday! We are also planning a private tour of the Nathan Deal Judicial Center, which houses the newly expanded Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals with a commanding view of the Gold Dome across the street for Friday afternoon. The evening will feature GFRW’s Reagan Club and Legacy Reception Honoring GFRW Past Presidents with invited special guests. Our Winter Board Meeting and Training will take place on Saturday, February 29.

I look forward to working with you and hope that you will share your ideas, your energy and commitment to making this another great GFRW celebration. Please summon your friends, neighbors and co-workers and join us for the weekend and get to know our Republican elected officials. We must all work in unison to re-elect President Donald Trump, U.S. Senator David Perdue and U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler, in addition to our General Assembly and local Republican officials.

Finally, we are pleased to announce our Caring for America spotlight for this session will be the Georgia Ballet’s DanceAbility Program which is geared toward children whose physical or developmental disabilities make it difficult or impossible to participate in a traditional ballet class. Please bring cash or checks for donations on Saturday. Republican women support the Fine Arts!
