10:45- 1:15 Beth Roessler- Hudson River Estuary Program, Stream Buffer Coordinator, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, In cooperation with NYS Water Resources Institute at Cornell University; Methods for establishing trees and shrubs, experience and lessons learned from the Trees for Tribs Program in NYS.
11:15- 11:45 Art Gover- Research Support Associate, Wildland Weeds Project, Penn State University, Plant Science Department; Weed control for tree and shrub establishment and maintenance; and invasive plant species considerations.
11:45- 12:30 Sally Claggett- USFS- Forestry Program Coordinator to Chesapeake Bay and Aaron Ristow- Agriculture Coordinator, Upper Susquehanna Coalition (USC); USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) and USDA-Forest Service Chief’s Joint Landscape Restoration Partnership: The New York Upper Susquehanna watershed riparian buffer enhancement project and other USC riparian buffer projects.

1:30- 2:00- David Wise- Watershed Restoration Manager, Stroud Water Research Center; "Low cost methods for forested buffer plantings" NFWF grant. Rationale and preliminary lessons learned.
Field Tour: Tree container size study, tree planting protection study, willow time of staking study
2:30- 3:00- Jim MacKenzie - Owner, Octoraro Native Plant Nursery; Nursery grower's perspective on plant stock, culture, care and handling. Looking back on 25 years, what's changed and what hasn't in conservation plantings.
3:00- 3:30- Shawnna Clark - USDA-NRCS Biological Resource Specialist; Tree and shrub container size study at the Big Flats PMC.
