Getting Ready for School

August 19-23

Ages 7-10 years

All camps will have the benefit of a qualified ABA therapist using Behavioural Skills Training (BST) to acquire skills to make meaningful improvements with a high ratio of staff to children.

Make sure you and your kiddos are ready to tackle the new school year and learn the appropriate behaviours that they’ll need to succeed.  Getting up early and out the door, a day of sitting still, lining up and switching activities on a schedule isn’t easy for many children.  Each of these involves a number of discrete behaviours.  The program emulates school activities and curriculum in a small group setting with a low 1:3 teacher to student ratio.  This provides a high level of support for children to interact and learn new skills with guidance while they have FUN!

Things To Bring To Camp
All campers must bring the following labeled items to camp:

  • A nut free lunch
  • Refillable Water Bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Towel and swimsuit for swim days
Once a child is registered and payment is received a Camper Package will be sent to you. The Camper Package will include camp information and a medical form, please fill out forms and return to DCAFS before the start of camp.

Cancellation Policy 25% of Full Camp Registration cost before July 1. After July 1 there will be a 75%  cancellation fee unless a doctor’s note is provided.                     NO REFUNDS are made for early departure due to homesickness
