6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Program Fee $10 (Students with a parent attend free)
This program is designed for both parents and high school students to attend together. College admissions can be a long and confusing process for any student. Students with learning disabilities and ADHD have even more steps to follow on their path to admissions.
The program will provide you and your child with the steps he or she can take each year, beginning in 9th grade, to help plan for the college admissions process. Checklists organized by grade, tools and resources will be shared that are particularly geared towards the admissions process for students with LD and/or ADHD. Families will leave with a clear understanding of the types of supports that are available at the post secondary level and how to access them.
In addition, Ms. Tracy Mueller, Director of Project EXCEL at Mount St. Joseph University will join us to discuss the specialized support program at the Mount, one of three in the state of Ohio!
