Developing Positive Habits at Home
Tuesday, October 9, 2018
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
ADHD is a weakness in Executive Function (EF) skills, the skills that allow us to plan, execute and complete tasks. When children have difficulties with EF skills it can often cause families stress at home.
This program addresses how to develop routines that support the development of Executive Function skills. Strategies such as giving effective directions, setting up a daily schedule, using checklists and motivating your student will be addresssed. The program emphasizes practical strategies that you can begin using tomorrow!
The program will be held in the Springer School Library.
