The Georgia Tank & Environmental Contractors Association (GTEC) and the Georgia Association of Convenience Stores (GACS) are pleased to offer this in-class training and certification course. This course is for those operators who prefer a live in-class course and/or do not like to take Online Courses. The GTEC online course is still available 24/7 and registration info for it can be found at the GTEC website at www.gteca.com. This in-class course as well as the online course have been approved by the Georgia EPD.
Class Instructor:
Bill Greer is the Executive Director of the Georgia Tank & Environmental Contractors Association (GTEC) and also the Indiana Petroleum Equipment Contractors’ Association (IPECA). He has over forty-three years experience in the petroleum equipment industry to include hands on experience in underground and aboveground storage tank installations, closures, tank testing, tank lining, sampling, remediation and environmental consulting. He has taught UST/AST courses in Georgia, Tennessee, Indiana, Texas and North and South Carolina and has served as a guest speaker for the National EPA Workshop. He has taught the Stage I/II Vapor Recovery Course for Owners/Operators and has certified over 2000 A/B UST Operators in Georgia. He is also certified as a Class A/B UST Operator Training Provider for the state of Texas. Bill is a regular speaker at the Georgia Tech Environmental Conference twice a year on USTs and ASTs. Mr. Greer is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta and is also a retired U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer.
