a Welcome Convocation for Head of School
Dr. Zachary Roberts 

Please join us for wine, appetizers and dessert as we welcome our new Head of School Dr. Zachary Roberts to Gateway School.

Dr. Roberts arrives at Gateway after thirteen years as an educator at The Berkeley School, where he was most recently the Associate Head of School and Elementary Division Head.  During his tenure there he also taught and coached, as well as served as Middle School Division Head, Acting Head of School and a member of the Board of Trustees. In addition to his service at The Berkeley School, he has taught at Mills College as an Assistant Visiting Professor in the Graduate School of Education. Dr. Roberts has a B.A. in English from Stanford University and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Mills College.  We are thrilled to welcome Zaq and his wife Chelsea and their three daughters Lila Rose, Emilene and Autumn to Gateway School and the Santa Cruz community!
