Growing Up WILD Plus 


Growing Up WILD Plus features Growing Up WILD activities plus
additional activities
designed to stimulate young children in new and

exciting ways while connecting them to nature and many of its wonders.  The basic Growing Up WILD curriculum is a national early childhood initiative that builds literacy skills and environmental appreciation among early learners through participation inengaging wild-life-based educational activities. It is sponsored by the Council for Environmental Education. Pastparticipants of the basic Growing Up WILD Workshop are welcome.

 

Date and Time: Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Location: Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, 2148 Riverside Drive, Jackson, MS 39202

There will be a $15.00 pre-registration fee required. Make out check to MMNS. Registration deadline is January 31, 2015.

The workshop provides 5 contact hours.

Participants can earn .5 CEU’s from Mississippi College for an additional fee of $10.00.

We will take care of CEU’s at the end of the workshop (cash, check, or money order).

Participants of "Growing Up WILD Plus" will receive a copy of the basic "Growing Up WILD" Curriculum.
