What Accelerators Can Do For You
Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator - Murat Aktihanoglu, Founder
DreamIt Ventures Accelerator - Mark Wachen, Managing Director

The launch terrain for startup companies likely will remain difficult in 2013, requiring entrepreneurial firms to examine all forms of assistance available. Accelerators are akin to boot camps for entrepreneurs, filled with classes covering organizational, operational, and strategic issues firms will face once they are launched. Many invest $40,000 for an 8% stake in participating companies, which may be augmented upon graduation. The program will be devoted to describing educational and mentoring aspects of accelerator-driven business development, differences between various types of accelerators, comparison to incubators, and financial & performance parameters of participation.
