UKSA welcome you to a Chamber of Commerce Networking Lunch on Thursday 23^rd May at their base in Cowes. We are pleased to announce Founder and internationally recognised Shaun Smith of Smith & Co as our guest speaker. There will also be the opportunity to tour around the newly refurbished and repurposed training centre formally Cowes Youth Centre. 

UKSA is a Cowes based charity who use the power of the sea to offer transformational opportunities to young people; by widening access to maritime training, enhancing life skills and employment within the sector. With its commitment to the Isle of Wight community UKSA’s Funded Test the Water programme; which offers every Year 6 child the opportunity to have a taster of sailing, to date has seen over 5,000 Isle of Wight young people get on the water.

About the speaker

Shaun Smith has been a leader in expanding management attention from the narrow focus on customer service to the wider, more strategic drive towards customer experience. He is the founder of Smith+co the leading UK based customer experience consultancy.  He is co-author of five acclaimed business books, his most recent being, ‘On Purpose, delivering a branded customer experience people love’. Shaun has worked internationally with brands across many sectors and spoken to audiences in 22 countries. He is one of only a few recipients in the UK of the prestigious PSAE (Professional Speaking Award of Excellence). Shaun is also a keen sailor and participated in a round the world yacht race in 2000 when he learned that success in sailing and success in business are very related.
