The Central Maryland Young AFCEAN’s Young AFCEA Mentor Night provides an open forum of government, and Industry leadership sharing career insights to aspiring young (40 and under) professionals.

The format is a Senior Executive Leadership Q&A Panel Discussion with five distinguished government, and industry senior executives who will provide insights on career progression, importance of networking, roles of mentors in their own development, importance of higher education and training, concluding with lessons learned along the way. Before the panel, a networking session with refreshments will be held from 5pm-6pm, where you can introduce yourself to our panelist and get to know them a little from a unique perspective. During the panel, there will be time allowed for questions to be asked by the audience to include career questions/advice, connect, and build relationships with the leaders on a more intimate level which will enhance personal engagement, foster future mentoring relationships, and enrich the young professionals network. This unique event provides Young AFCEANs with the opportunity to both network and sit side-by-side with these accomplished leaders.
