Eco Explorers Camp - June 12 - 16, 2017

Explore habitats from top to bottom among the ecosystem of Camp Discovery and learn firsthand about many of the amazing animals that call them home!

Bee Wise Pollinator Camp - June 19 - 23, 2017 

Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators are among the hardest working creatures in the garden! In this camp that coincides with National Pollinators Week, we celebrate these fascinating and vitally important animals as we explore the world of pollinators and the important role they play in the foods we eat. 

Nature In Motion STEM Camp - July 10 - 14, 2017

Discover the fun side of science through “wild”  experiments and hands-on investigations into how nature moves!

Art in Nature (Girls Only) Camp - July 17 - 21, 2017  

Nature provides limitless paths of creativity using the mind, the hands, and the heart. From sun and leaf printing to creating music through the sounds of nature, this week is designed specifically for girls to bring inspiration and encourage self-confidence through the love of art and nature.

Earth Keepers Summer Program at Camp Discovery offers a fun and safe way for children ages 6-11 to learn about nature through an exciting week of outdoor exploration, adventure, and discovery. Each day will take your child on an exciting journey to reveal the wonders of the natural world using the fields, creeks and forests of Camp Discovery. 

Earth Keepers Day Camp activities include:

• Special up-close visits with the Camp’s animal ambassadors
• Creating nature-themed crafts using natural and recycled materials
• Hands-on exploration through hikes, games, experiments and more!
• Discovering new and exciting ways to protect nature and wild places!

Each week brings new learning and new adventures. Your child may join us for one week or for all! Registration fees include all activities, daily snacks and a camp shirt. Campers must bring water bottle and lunch each day.

Earth Keepers Fees and Hours

• $175 per camper through April 1, 2017. $185 per camper after April 1. Register early. Enrollment is limited to 20 spaces each week!   
• Camp hours are 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.  Extended stay is available.                                     

Multiple-Week Campers
Campers who sign up for 2 or more weeks will receive a $10 discount off each additional week.

Sibling Discounts
Registration for 2 or more siblings (i.e. brother, sister) will receive a $10 discount for each additional child registered. Enter the code FAMILY on sibling's registration at check out. (Multiple-week and sibling discounts cannot be combined.)

Extended Stay
Morning extended care is available from 8:00 –9:00 a.m. for an additional $25 per week. Afternoon extended care is available from 4:00 - 5:00 pm for an additional $25 per week.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing no later than two weeks prior to camp date to receive a refund minus a $50 nonrefundable deposit. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 2 weeks of the camp date.

Financial Aid
Camp Discovery is committed to being accessible to all. Scholarships are available to help families with limited financial resources who are unable to afford the full cost of a week of camp. If you are applying for a assistance please limit your registration to one week of camp per child. Scholarships are usually partial and based on financial need. Applications are due by April 15, 2017. Link can be found on the campdiscoverysc.org website. You will be contacted by a staff member upon receipt of request.
