GNAT (Giving Nature A Try) 

Welcome 3-6 year olds, parents and siblings to join us in Giving Nature a Try (GNAT) and embark on amazing new discoveries in the fields and forests of Camp Discovery! Programs offer a mix of hands-on recreational activities, nature walks, songs, stories, animal experiences, and open play covering a wide variety of nature themes. All activities are designed to be fun, build confidence and connection to self and others, and engage the senses!

The GNAT program is designed for children and adults to learn together in a natural and supportive setting and sessions are offered the first Thursday of each month during the school year. We embark on different seasonal topics and each theme brings incredible new discoveries, cultivating wonder and curiosity, and building a loving connection to nature and all it has to offer. Your child will expand their awareness of the natural world and maybe you will too!  

Registration
Families may register for individual sessions or multiple sessions to receive discount. Cost is $10 per child.  $5 for each sibling (3 and older).  Parent, grandparent , guardian and children under 3 are free!

Cancellations
Please notify us at programs@campdiscoverysc.org of any cancellations at least 48 hours prior to the registered session. Cancellations or non-attendance after this point will result in the charge of the FULL class fee. If Camp Discovery cancels a class for any reason, you will be given the option of attending a different session or provided a refund.
