PAN/CATIE Frontline Support Workers Training
                                                          

General Registration for non PAN members and additional PAN member delegates

The Pacific AIDS Network (PAN) in partnership with CATIE are excited to announce that we will be hosting a three day conference for PAN member organizations, and other allied/partner organizations, where Frontline Support Workers will gather to explore, learn and discuss best and innovative practices in the field.  The conference is scheduled for February 24, 25 and 26, 2015 at the Vancouver Airport Marriott in Richmond.

Registration for the training is now open.  The registration fee for non PAN members and additional PAN member delegates that would like to attend the conference/training is $275.00.  This fee includes a light breakfast and lunch on each of the three days.

A draft program/schedule will be released soon, but we are pleased to announce that on the first day of the conference/training we will be featuring a comprehensive full day program led by Yvette Perrault from the AIDS Bereavement and Resiliency Program of Ontario in an all day interactive session tentatively titled From Grief to Action: Building Resilience on the Ground.

Key topics of focus for day two and three of the conference, in a blend of conccurent workshop sessions, panel and discussion sessions, and plenary keynotes, will include:

  • Disclosure and criminalization
  • Mental Health
  • Substance Use
  • Harm Reduction
  • Aging

 

Registration Deadline: Monday, January 30th, 2015 by 3:00pm

Payment Options:
There are two payment options for the conference/training, via Pay Pal or by sending a cheque.  If you elect to pay by cheque please note that you will not be considered to be fully registered until your cheque is received. You will receive an initial confirmation after completing the online registration but you will be placed on a "pending confirmation" list until your cheque arrives.  Once your cheque has been received you will receive a final confirmation note from PAN's administrative office.


Cancellation & Substitution Policy:
All cancellations and requests for refund must be made in writing via email to stacy@pacificaidsnetwork.org

Full Refunds (less processing fee): To recieve a full refund, less a $50 processing fee, PAN must receive written notice as stated above by January 30, 2015.

Cancellations and requests for refund made after January 30, 2015 will not be eligible for a refund.

Registrants may send a substitute in their place in lieu of requesting a refund.  The name of the subsitute must be submitted to stacy@pacificaidsnetwork.org prior to the start of the conference/training.

No refunds will be made for No Shows.


Hotel Booking Information:
If you would like to stay at the conference hotel, the Vancouver Airport Marriott, hotel rooms are available at our conference rate and must be booked through PAN. Payment will be required by the hotel directly, upon your check-in.  To make a hotel booking please provide the required information on the online registration form.
