Mayor Sam Liccardo and the San Jose City Council cordially invite you to the 2015 State of the City Celebration. The Mayor’s 2015 State of the City Celebration will outline key initiatives, budget priorities, and opportunities for residents to get engaged to make San José a safer, smarter city. In addition to the Mayor's speech, the event will honor outstanding citizens from each Council District and exemplary city employees.
New This Year:
The 2015 State of the City Celebration will be held at Independence High School’s Gym in East Side San José. Following the event will be a Resource Fair with information about city services and city employment.
Event Details:
This is a casual attire event.
You must bring a copy of your registration confirmation to gain attendance to the event.
The Gym features theater-style seating. We will NOT be giving out individual seat assignments for this event.
Food and drinks are not allowed in the Gym.

Resource Fair:
The Resource Fair will begin prompty after the State of the City Celebration program which will be at 11:30 am. This fair was organized with residents like you in mind. By speaking with these organizations, you will find information on youth jobs, city services, local resources, and city employment.
Transportation Details:
Free parking will be available at the main parking lot and the overflow lots. Please view the parking map for more details. The gym is on the N. Jackson Avenue side of campus.
Individuals are also encouraged to take public transit. For light rail and bus route information, please visit the VTA website.
