AAC-ACNA Diocesan Mediators Conference 

Our purpose is to raise-up and equip mediators for the Province who will be available to Bishops, dioceses and other leaders for assistance in mediating conflict situations within ACNA local congregations.  Topics to be covered include:

A Vision for Conflict
How to Diagnose a Problem without Prejudice
Principles of Mediation
Listening
Contracts and Legal Implications for Mediators
The Person of the Mediator
Types of Mediation
Listening Skills Practicum
The Praxis of Mediation

The event will be led by a team of distinguished speakers including The Honorable George M. Peagler, Jr., Jack Lewis, Esq., The Rev. Canon  Phil Ashey, former Orange County CA District Attorney, and the Rt. Rev. Dr. Trevor Walters, Bishop and Trained Mediator in civil and church contexts.

The event will also be part of a book launch entitled Christian Mediation which features the above mentioned speakers.  Participants will receive a hardback textbook edition as part of their conference registration fee.

Cost: $75 per person includes Saturday lunch and materials; hotel and remaining meals not included.
