Fall Equinox Walk

Join American Littoral Society naturalists Jeff and Nicole as we embark on our annual Fall Equinox Walk!

Occurring twice a year, the Equinox signals the beginning of Spring and end of Summer. Many cultures around the world feast and celebrate because it is the time when day and night are of equal length. At Sandy Hook we take a stroll through the local maritime forest and pause to watch a beautiful sunset. Maybe even try to balance that darn egg!

Meet at Building 18 in Fort Hancock section of Sandy Hook National Recreation Area at 6:00pm.
