“Update on the Purdue Facility Management Masters Degree Program”
Join us to hear from Matt Ray, Director of Facilities Management Technology, Indiana University/Purdue University, Indianapols. Established in 2007, the MS degree in Technology, Facilities Management concentration is a 100% ONLINE IFMA accredited graduate degree program designed for working professionals. Designed for those that are currently working in the field of facility management or have an interest in this career field as a; planner, property manager, plant manager, facility manager, plant engineer or other related area, students can enhance job opportunities by earning a formal IFMA accredited credential. The program allows students to complete coursework and program requirements in two calendar years and is open to anyone with a 4 year degree from an accredited institution.
The program has been developed to allow students to complete 100% of the coursework online from anywhere at any time of day. Students use the University’s online learning management system to access lectures, submit coursework and interact with faculty and classmates. Students share a virtual classroom with facility management professionals from around the world while earning a Purdue University degree.
The degree program provides an integrated experience in facilities management with emphasis on project and contract management, engineering systems management and energy management. The program consists 10 courses based on IFMA’s Body of Knowledge and 1 independent directed project in the area of facilities management.
