Spring Regional Mini-Conference Sessions

"Challenges in Running a Mediation Practice: Logistics, Ethics, and Getting Down to Business"

Welcome to Virginia Mediation Network's Regional Spring Conferences.  We are excited to introduce you to Marshall Yoder, a Harrisonburg Collaborative Lawyer/Mediator who will facilitate the discussion of "Challenges in Running a Mediation Practice:  Logistics, Ethics, and Getting Down to Business".  Mr. Yoder will be joined by three panelists and VMN members Robert Carpenter, Karen Richards, and Brenda Waugh.  Join these experienced mediators and experts in the areas of marketing, business planning, and finances to learn how to increase the potential for your business while complying with the ethical requirements for mediators!  This session has been approved for 2.0 Continuing Mediator Education (CME) credits in Ethics by Dispute Resolution Services. 

There will be eight sessions from which to choose, each with a local Onsite Facilitator from Virginia Mediation Network.    The workshop is a 1.5 hour video followed by an on-site, live discussion.  Pre-registration cost for VMN Members is $10, $60 for Non-Members and is required by March 6, 2015.  After that time, onsite registration will be $20 for VMN Members and $80 for Non-Members.  The following are the dates and locations of the sessions:
