Walk, Run or Dye 5K for Poteau Chamber

The Walk, Run or Dye 5K for Poteau Chamber is a fun walk/run for all ages presented by Watson Motor Sales and the Poteau Chamber of Commerce and will not be a timed event. There will be no medals or trophies given, just a really good time with friends, family and a little color.
All ages are invited to participate, just remember this is a COLOR run, participants will be exposed to powdered cornstarch at various times through out the run and this may affect allergies, breathing and/or cause other health problems. Please make sure that you are fit and healthy enough to participate in this run before signing up.
What can you expect? While you are waiting to register, expect some good quality pumping music by MS Event Group to help get the party started. At the end of the run, we hope you will stay for the after party ending at the City Hall as the DJ plays the latest dance hits. Stick around for lots of fun and games. Various local non—profit groups will be set up selling food items so we hope that you will stay around and be ready to support your local community non-profit agencies.
Throughout the race, participants will go through several color stations where they will have the opportunity to check out some “color” from some of our local businesses.
In a color run, you are encouraged to wear white! Each registrant will receive one (1) white logo tee. Please note that the Chamber or any other party will not be held responsible for staining or damage done to clothing from cornstarch. Damage done to strollers, cell phones or any other items. Color will be dispersed in a powder and liquid form.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND FEES
Race day registration is from 9:00am to 9:45am in the City Hall Parking Lot. Race Time Begins at 10:00am .
Pre-registration for all entrants must be postmarked by September 1, 2015 in order to be guaranteed a T-Shirt. If you do not pre-register by 5:00pm on the day of the deadline, you will NOT be guaranteed a t-shirt, there are NO exceptions to this rule. - T-SHIRTS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE (9/3/15)
Registration fees will remain the same after the early registration deadline. However, late registrants will NOT BE guaranteed a t-shirt.
Registration Packet includes (1) White “Walk, Run or Dye” T-Shirt, (1) “Walk, Run or Dye” Tattoo, and (1) Color Bomb powder packet for the after party and a whole lotta’ fun!
Fees are as follows: Individuals are $20 each. Groups of 4 or more adults, non students are $15 each. Students (must present valid student ID and/or class schedule) & children 12 and under are $10 each.
Registration Fees and all other fees are NON-REFUNDABLE!!
You may transfer your registration to another individual but under no circumstance can we refund your fees once you have registered.
VENDORS
Vendors spots are available to local non-profit agencies only. We want this to benefit our local non-profit agencies. Non-profit agencies interested in setting up a vendor booth, please contact the Chamber of Commerce. Space is limited so please contact the Chamber as soon as possible. There is no fee to set up as a vendor, however, you must be a non-profit group and must register with the Chamber!

Follow Airport Road to Dennis Road. Go R onto Dennis Road. Follow Dennis Road to West Blvd. Go L onto West Blvd. Follow West Blvd to Oakland Drive. Go R on Oakland Drive. Follow Oakland Drive to Scholars Drive. Go R onto Scholars Drive. Follow Scholars Drive to CASC drive in front of Auditorium. Go L onto CASC Drive. Take CASC Drive to Dunlap Oval. Go R onto Dunlap Oval. Follow Dunlap Oval to South McKenna (at Gassaway). Go R onto South McKenna. Follow South McKenna to Rogers. Go L onto Rogers. Follow Rogers to Peters. Go R onto Peters. Color Stations: $125 each —Your opportunity to Color Poteau! Sponsors receive Color Station promotion—you provide the people, we provide the color! As participants go through your “color station” you “color” them with the cornstarch you’ve been given. Opportunity to insert brochure, business card or flyer into registration packets. Company logo listed on sponsor flyer that goes in each registration packet and logo on event banner.
T-Shirt: $50 each—Your company name listed on the back of the shirts. Company Logo listed on sponsor flyer that goes in each registration packet. Opportunity to input your brochure, business card or flyer into packet. Sponsors receive 1 t-shirt.
Route: Here is the route for the color run starting starting and ending at City Hall (near the word "Poteau").
