AMP's Giving Back Workshop 

Kids are observers. They notice differences. How do we as parents capitalize on their curiosity for others to help introduce concepts of acceptance and empathy? Join A Magic Penny to explore how to use everyday experiences as teachable moments that help our children celebrate difference and deepen their emotional intelligence to support empathy for others.

Parents will enjoy dedicated time to explore conversation starters, activities, resources, and organizations that spark or support acceptance, while your children engage in hands-on and experiential activities that explore empathy. This workshop will concentrate on how these concepts relate to differing abilities in conjunction with our donated workshop space at We Rock the Spectrum.
