Join your brudders for the second annual NCS New England Regional Retreat at the magnificent Cranwell Resort in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains. The Retreat promises to be a great weekend of fellowship, fun, healing and transformation with Kenny Thacker as our Spiritual Guide for the journey.
The Retreat begins Friday evening with an optional dinner at 6:00pm and the first general session at 8:00pm, and it ends Saturday by 4:00pm. Resort activities (spa, golf, tennis, etc.) are available Friday and Saturday for those arriving early or staying longer. Because attendance is capped at 150, we expect the Retreat to sell out quickly--register early (rooms at Cranwell are now sold out and you will need to stay in a nearby overflow hotel)!
Retreat Theme
Our Retreat theme for 2014 is "Sonship Changes Everything". One of the things NCS is about is brudders helping each other be better Fathers and better men. When we know that we are not orphans trying to earn our Heavenly Father’s love but adopted sons who are loved unconditionally, we can model that unconditional love to our children. When our children feel that unconditional love from us, they are better equipped to understand the Father’s unconditional love for them.
The Retreat will be organized around the relationships we have (or had) with our earthly fathers and with our children. NCS brudders will be "keepin' it real" by sharing their stories and sharing how God and brudders showed up. Kenny Thacker is flying up from Dallas to guide us in understanding and experiencing the Father’s love for us, flowing the Father’s love through to our children and being transformed through the experience. Phil Zaldatte will be leading our ministry and prayer team. Some key areas of challenge and vision we will face, embrace and discuss are:
Retreat Packages (You must book one of these):
We have put together six amazing fully-inclusive ways to attend the Retreat (go check the Cranwell website--rooms usually go for $400-500/night)--but the Cranwell Room Packages are now SOLD OUT. The "Full" packages include Friday dinner and the "Modified " packages do not. But act fast, Cranwell can't accommodate all 150 attendees. Because Cranwell is full, we have arranged room availability at a nearby hotel (see below for details). YOU MUST STILL BOOK A CRANWELL DAY RATE PACKAGE TO ATTEND THE RETREAT.Our rooms at the Cranwell have sold out.
Alternate Accommodations: Because of the Cranwell room sell-out, we have made arrangements for a limited number of rooms at the nearby Yankee Inn (www.yankeeinn.com). You do not need to stay at the Yankee Inn to book a Cranwell Day Rate Package (and you do not need to use our block if you do stay at the Yankee Inn). Single rooms (one queen bed) for Friday night are available for $80 (plus tax). Double rooms (two double beds) at Yankee Inn are also available for $90 (plus tax), but you must book the full room and find your own roommate to split the cost. To make a reservation at the Yankee Inn, call 1-800-835-2364 and ask for the New Canaan Society block. Please note, you must still call Cranwell and register for a $99 or $65 Day Rate Package described above to attend the Retreat.
So there are three simple steps: (1) book a Yankee Inn room (or make arrangements at any other hotel of your choosing), (2) Call Cranwell and register for a Day Rate Package and (3) register on the Retreat website using the link below.
Once made, reservations may not be cancelled, but they may be transferred to a brudder (you can ignore conflicting cancellation info in Cranwell's standard confirmation e-mail).
