Steve Berry’s latest book, The King’s Deception, “mixes Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, and terrorists into Cotton Malone’s eighth adventure… A Dan Brown-ian secular conspiracy about The Virgin Queen driving nonstop international intrigue.” Barnes & Noble Reviews calls it “A suspenseful novel that begs to be a movie.”

There’s a common thread that runs through New York Times bestselling author Steve Berry’s thrillers. Something from the past has been lost, forgotten or is in peril. But these relics from the past continue to have great importance in the modern world.

Steve Berry and his wife, Elizabeth, have traveled the world researching and promoting Steve’s many books, and saw the effects of dwindling funds dedicated to preserving our heritage. They launched the History Matters Foundation to assist communities around the world with historic restoration and preservation. History Matters supports the cost of their travel and Steve accepts no appearance fee.

Please join us in welcoming Steve and Liz as they help kick off our capital campaign to Raise the Roof and preserve the National Register-listed Clubhouse!

Proceeds from this event benefit the University Club Foundation, Inc., a 501c3 organization incorporated in
2009 to support the preservation of the National Register-listed Clubhouse. The Foundation funds repairs and maintenance to protect the historic Clubhouse building from deterioration and decline that could rob future generations of a handsome and significant landmark.
