STATE EXAM FOLLOWING CLASS

It is recommended that you take the State Exam at least 6-12 months before the expiration to avoid a break in your commission. Processing of commissions can take several months.

When registered for the class, you will receive a link to read the State Notary Handbook and access to 138 sample exam questions that will prepare you for the exam. Link will be emailed within 1 business day after registration.

Same Day State Test: What to Bring
- Your Photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, etc.)
- A $40 check made out to "Secretary of State"
- Two #2 pencils for the exam
- One 2"x2" color photo of yourself.
