Medications are often suggested and can be useful in patients with autism spectrum disorders. This presentation will be a general overview of the types of medications that are prescribed for children with behavioral issues, including their benefits and common side effects. As treatments differ for each individual based on their needs, specific patient treatments will not be discussed.
