Is it Really Working?  Getting the Most out of Autism Therapies
Saturday, January 17, 2015

Parents enroll their children in therapies with the expectation that the therapy program will really help their child learn. However, it is often difficult to determine whether a therapy program is really
making a difference. Parents are often told their child is “coming along,” “doing well,” and so on, but they are often left wondering what exactly their child has learned from this therapy during the past few months and sometimes years. This training will help parents learn how to determine if a therapy program is really benefitting their child and common characteristics found in most
successful therapies.  Attendees will receive a copy of the PowerPoint handout as well as an 8-question pre and post-quiz.
