Autism Affects the Whole Family
Learn more about how to support families living with autism and how to help them cope with challenges they may encounter. PRESENTERS:
Diane Mosnik, PhD, will be speaking on preparing teens with autism and their families for adulthood. Dr. Mosnik is a clinical neuropsychologist who treats both pediatric and adult clients in the metropolitan Milwaukee area.
Glenis Benson, PhD, will speak about how communication deficits affect behavior. Dr. Benson is an educational psychologist in private practice in Madison, Wisconsin, who works with families and schools to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Glenis has supported persons with ASDs for 35 years. She consults to school districts, agencies and families. She is a founding board member of Camp AweSum, a non-profit organization that operates both youth and familiy camps for persons with ASDs. Glenis' private practice is based in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Diane Mosnik is a Clinical Neuropsychologist trained in the assessment and diagnosis of neurological and psychiatric disorders. She received her PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. She currently works for the ProHealth Care Neuropsychology Section at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
