Dear Members and Colleagues:

Greetings!  It is time to register for the Summer 2014 FSFOA Conference!  A preliminary agenda is available on the FSFOA website.  Your directors and officers are busy confirming speakers to provide you with useful updates and informative sessions.  Please note that there are two registration processes; one for the conference attendees and one for guests.  The separate guest registration process allows you to pay for your guests with a personal credit card.  All attendees and guests must complete the online registration (there will be no paper registration form for this conference) and pay their registration no later than May 26, 2014 to avoid a $50 late fee.  Registration costs are as follows:

The registration process has been expanded to include an indication of which mini-sessions you plan to attend. This will allow us to ensure there is adequate seating for each session. The most recent version of the agenda is available online at:

This year, our summer conference is being held June 17-20, 2014 at The Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach, Florida.  It is beautifully located right on the beach and the rooms offer stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.  The room rates are $120 which includes complimentary wifi and self-parking.  Valet parking is available at $12.  The cost to upgrade to a studio suite is $20.  The group rates are available 3 days pre and post conference date if you would like to extend your stay.  All attendees are offered a 20% VIP Spa Discount at the hotel’s Ocean Waters Spa, a full-service European style spa. 

Hotel reservations can be made by calling Central Reservations at 1-866-500-5630.  It is imperative that you identify yourself as part of our group in order to receive the group rate.  We are listed as Florida School Finance Officers Association.   We have been guaranteed ocean front or ocean view rooms, so please let them know your preference when you call.  Both offer spectacular views.  They also have some city view rooms, so if your tastes lean to that, you will need to notify them of your preference.  All rooms have balconies and small kitchenettes (refrigerator, microwave, coffeepots).  The deadline for hotel reservations is May 26, 2014.
